Born
and raised in Philadelphia PA, Kymm Barnett was an extraverted child.
She had visions of saving the world with entertainment, like Mr. Bob
Hope did for our troops. As time took her into adulthood she attended
the Fashion Institute of Philadelphia to peruse her career in fashion,
interior design and commercial art. During her time in school she
managed a chic lingerie & clothing boutique in the Bourse Bld
while graduating with honors.
With the love for entertainment, Kymm exploded with her design presentions
in many fashion shows and esculated into coordinating her own shows
and events. While consistently designing and making cloths, her own
line and style were created over the years, breathing into existance
her unique signature in trimmings and skin exposure.
Using
her skills of interior design Kymm has served such clients as Rooms
To Go, California’s TV producer “Stan The Man” and
a number of local clients who have purchased new homes.
Involving
herself in many projects such as giving to the poor and donating her
time to organizations like American Red Cross, Hoseya Feed the Hungry,
relief for diaster victums and American Cancer Society . Kymm came
up with the idea for preparing children for their future with healthy
living lifestyles, credit awareness and entrepreneurship. Therefore
“Light
For A Child”
was
born and the umbrella, “K.Y.M.M. Inc.” was formulated.
Now awareness for young women and adults everywhere is added to this
resume.
